About us

We are a spirited group of enthusiastic people, with a common interest in life- give back to the society what we have received from it- in the form of living and propagating a nature cool lifestyle- the Maati Lifestyle!

We like to think of ourselves as uber-cool, bandwidth armoured, natural energy & ecological emissaries.

Maati is an endeavour, that is started for the purpose of reaching out to the "arrived in life", who has the willingness and the ability to shape this planet's future!

The site is FULLY MANUAL (in contrast to FULLY AUTOMATIC/DYNAMIC). We take pride in taking that extra effort to read all the mails, articles and answer most queries.

The site is now about half a decade old. We have been asked by the loyal community base to keep a blog, a community social networking feature and an automated classifieds system. Well, we are on it. A bit slow, but we are at it. Sometimes we have technology issues and other times 'time availability' issues, but we are at it. Maybe this implies that uber-cool, bandwidth armoured - natural energy & eco emissaries also need 'cash' which is, well, a bit scarce with us.

We at Maati believe that if each one of us is responsible enough- just for one's own self, we can give a lot back to the society. Philosophical as it may sound, the overall idea is to have some good, healthy (literally too) fun, and information sharing through a platform that'll stand for everything that connotes cool class and style.

Having said that, we reiterate the fact that the Maati Life is not about living in pretensions and treating Nature cool as a fad. It is our firm belief that long term use can treat the environment and even the society of many of its evils.

We strongly urge everyone who wants to look and feel "sexy" to go ahead and buy some of this stuff. And continue doing so!

We at Maati.com have a lot of plans for the future. Utilising the most powerful medium that mankind has seen till now- the Internet- as forefront of its activities, we also plan to expand into tangible products- solar powered products, eco tourism destinations, organic cafes, organic foods- the works. If you are interested in being a part- in whatever small or big way, you are most welcome- because the work at Maati never ends- and business never tires. We can be a great bunch of people to associate with- having a whole lot of fun while addressing a potentially serious issue. Managing this site with limited resources is a challenge- but the community, the feedback, the appreciation and the communication- it's worth all the effort!

We've created communities and forums- so go ahead and consume content, create your adverts, promotions, get into discussions with experts, solicit business enquiries, whatever. We've created a separate section on the site- The Products section- where you get to introduce your company to the world- but to make it spam free, we filter your queries first. Ah! The good old analogue way! Not very cool, but we take a lot of time making sure everthing's alright and the right people come in till the time we come up with an automated, secure and good classifieds section.
